RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Returns: Due to the nature of our handcrafted candles, wax melts, and room sprays, we cannot accept returns on used or burned products for health and safety reasons. However, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be happy with your purchase.

Defective or Damaged Products: If you receive a product that is defective or arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at AsiaraeAmaral@HeartsfireCandleCompany.com with photos of the issue. We'll work with you to make it right through a replacement or store credit.

Unused Products: Unused products in their original, unopened condition may be eligible for exchange or store credit within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us to discuss your options. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Shipping Damage: We carefully package all orders to ensure safe delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos. We'll work with the shipping carrier on your behalf to resolve the issue.

All return and exchange requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to approval.

 

 

SAFETY & LIABILITY

By purchasing and using products from Heartsfire Candle Company, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Release of Liability: Heartsfire Candle Company is not responsible or liable for any damages, injuries, losses, or claims resulting from the improper use, handling, misuse, or storage of our candles, wax melts, room sprays, or any other products. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Fire damage or burns

  • Property damage

  • Personal injury

  • Allergic reactions or sensitivities

  • Damage to furniture, fabrics, or surfaces

  • Any other consequential, incidental, or indirect damages

Product Use Acknowledgment: You acknowledge that candles involve open flames and inherent fire risks. Wax melts require heat sources. Room sprays contain fragrance oils that may cause sensitivity in some individuals. By purchasing these products, you accept full responsibility for their safe use.

Safety Guidelines - Candles:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Keep candles away from flammable materials (curtains, papers, bedding, etc.)

  • Place candles on stable, heat-resistant surfaces

  • Keep candles out of reach of children and pets

  • Trim wick to ¼ inch before each use

  • Burn candles in a well-ventilated area

  • Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time

  • Discontinue use when ½ inch of wax remains

  • Never move a burning candle or touch hot wax

  • Keep the wax pool free of debris and wick trimmings

Safety Guidelines - Wax Melts:

  • Use only approved wax warmers designed for wax melts

  • Never leave wax warmers unattended while in use

  • Keep wax warmers away from flammable materials

  • Place warmers on stable, heat-resistant surfaces

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets

  • Allow wax to cool completely before handling or removing

  • Do not add water or other substances to melted wax

Safety Guidelines - Room Sprays:

  • Use in well-ventilated areas

  • Avoid spraying directly on skin, eyes, or face

  • Keep away from open flames and heat sources

  • Do not spray on or near food

  • Test on a small, inconspicuous area before spraying on fabrics or furniture

  • Keep out of reach of children and pets

  • Discontinue use if irritation or allergic reaction occurs

Allergies & Sensitivities: Our products contain fragrance oils and other ingredients that may cause allergic reactions or sensitivities in some individuals. If you have known allergies or sensitivities to fragrances, essential oils, or other ingredients, please review product descriptions carefully or contact us before purchasing. Discontinue use immediately if you experience any adverse reactions.

Proper Storage: Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Keep products in their original containers when not in use.

User Responsibility: It is your responsibility to read, understand, and follow all safety instructions, warnings, and guidelines provided with each product. Failure to do so may result in injury, property damage, or other harm for which Heartsfire Candle Company cannot be held liable.
